Accommodation
Day 1
Arusha
The first morning is spent exploring the delights of Arusha city – famed as one of the most pleasant cities in Africa. Following markets and shady streets, we head towards Ngorongoro Crater National Park.
Arriving in the afternoon, we enjoy a game drive in the Ngorongoro Highlands and the spectacular view looking down from the crater rim.

Day 2
Ngorongoro
Day two is divided between Ngorongoro Crater floor and the surrounding highlands, half a day spent enjoying each.
Ngorongoro is home to an unbelievable concentration of wildlife. All of the big five are present, along with huge troops of baboon and great birdlife. 20,000 animals crowd the crater floor and make for excellent viewing.

Day 3
Serengeti
We rise early and drive towards the Serengeti National Park, heading straight to Olduvai Gorge, famous for the Leakey excavations that established this region as the habitat of some of the earliest species of hominids, with finds dating back 1.8 million years.
In the afternoon we make our first game drive through the incredible Serengeti. This park offers the best game viewing in Africa including the big five (elephant, buffalo, rhino, lion and leopard) and over 500 bird species. Tanzania’s oldest and most famous park really does deserve its reputation.

Day 4
Serengeti
Another full day in the Serengeti. In addition to game drives and guded walks, we take the chance to visit a Maasai community.
Day 5
Serengeti - Arusha
A last brief drive through the magnificent Serengeti before heading back to Arusha where the tour ends.
