We organize placements from 2 weeks to 2 months with four worthy non-profit organizations (click on the name to learn more):
The Queen Elizabeth Parks Twinning Project
This exciting new project is designed to bring together the individuals, schools and communities of Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda and Queen Elizabeth Country Park in Hampshire, England.
It is a project of cultural exchange, mutual support and has its main emphasis on supporting Conservation through working closely with and empowering local communities.
We are proud to link this project with our Uganda Wildlife Authority placements in Queen Elizabeth and give our full support to the initiative in both the UK and Uganda. Please contact us us or the organization for further details.
The Queen Elizabeth Conservation Project - Bringing Conservation Communities together.
These are positions organized by Ranger Safari Tours but conducted under the guidance of the project in question. This means that we make sure that everything is provided to the necessary standard; your safety, meals, accommodation, transport and suitable, reliable supervisors. Supervisors hold senior positions in the projects concerned (headmasters, wildlife management staff etc) and are there to guide and help you.
These are all unique placements and ones that we feel give the most useful support to local communities. Whatever reason you choose for volunteering, you are guaranteed to take back a sense of pride, humanity and we hope, a greater understanding of Ugandan culture and society.
Positions are available for people over the age of 18, who aren’t afraid of hard work. If you fit these conditions and are still interested, please take a look at the options available.
